I’ll be blunt, for the obvious reasons Wordpress is awesome. If it’s awesome, why don’t I use it? Well it needs to have web hosting since its open source software and that cost some hefty cash which I don’t really have. And to have a customized theme, that would be cool and mind blowing but when things are customized obviously its gonna be EXPENSIVE.
Even though I have been blogging for almost 2 years I still consider myself a newbie in the blogging community. Why am I a newbie? Because I think I know SEO, I think; I have only been tweaking blogger templates and never really played with wordpress and I do make grammatical errors here and there once a while. Starting over a clean slate with a new theme will definitely boost my confidence in creating more content.
My personal site is basically hosted on blogger but I bought the domain name. Add to that, Wordpress + Custom Wordpress Theme = High Traffic because of customization that would definitely enhance the optimization of one’s blog from pirctures to footers to whatever part of the Wordpress Theme!
If I freakin’ win that Custom Wordpress Theme, then I can definitely pursue that blog either about my degree/profession, Anti-Emo Blog? Perhaps even an advocacy blog focusing on environment or my beloved cebu’s culture!
