CASA VERDE Madness

This was during a launching of a RUN in Cebu which was sponsored by the Aboitiz Group. We had the meeting in Casa Verde and ate to our heart's content! Or so I thought...But before that, a briefer on CASA VERDE: Casa Verde offers American food but with Cebuano prices and did I mention BIG SERVINGS, or let me put it RIDICULOUSLY BIG SERVINGS for my stomach.

A quick peek on the inside

The meal that we had was Brian's Baby Back Ribs with rice which had a price of Php128.00 and a Dessert Offering of a sinful chocolate ice cream with marshmallows which was really crazy, I was so shocked that I forgot to check for its price.

Anyway, I have heard long before about Casa Verde which was around or near F. Ramos Street Cebu City but for this writing, this was in Ayala Terraces (3/F) for my 1st Casa Verde Experience. And we had our HEAVY LUNCH in their small Conference Room.

Chocolate that is to die for!

The ribs was crazy, I wanted more rice and I even had the sauce/glaze mixed into my rice which adds more taste to my palette with some degree of sweetness without overpowering the peppery flavour of the meat while being still soft but meaty.

I was more than satisfied since the serving was something that I was not used to but if you're planning to try this place out, GO FOR THE RIBS and that Dessert Above--you'll experience some degree of DEATH BY CHOCOLATE moment.

The ambiance and feel is calming, I like GREEN, and as for Value for Money--Definitely a yes, the serving's a handful if you're a first timer I guess ;)
