New Ayala Center PUV Terminal

It was rainy during its opening
Today, Ayala Center Cebu officially opened its new PUV terminal. It may look smaller, but don't let your eyes fool you. The structure is combined with sound aesthetics and design saving utilization into it. It has exactly the same area of the previous open terminal near Mariott hotel (2,000sqm). But actually this has more area that it has a 2nd floor which makes it 4,000sqm all in all.

From the PUV View facing West Entry Wing
The new PUV Terminal is located across the west entry of Ayala Center cebu mall along Archbishop Reyes Avenue, (Near BPI or Mercury Drug) and also Bohol Street. This will be its new home which was achieve with the cooperation of the City of Cebu and CITOM for the re-routing of the Cebu Business park area (Jeepney Routes are basically the same, its just that the drop off point for commuters is now different).

On the opening with the 1st PUV coming in
Ground breaking and Construction for this PUV Terminal project was done only last August 2010. In roughly 4++months, the Php53Million project is finished and ready to serve consumer-commuters.

New Food Stalls
Facility Overview:
  • 2 storey PUV Terminal connecting two roads: Archbishop Reyes Avenue and Bohol Street
  • Inside, it looks similar to the Terraces parking area with the latest space utilization design and technologies
  • There are 7 Food stalls all in all (2 at the 2nd level and 5 in the lower level)
  • Restrooms are also available (1 Male and Female CRs at top while on the lower level is prioritized for PWDs - Persons with Disabilities)
  • 2 Guard Structures and stairways
  • Awesome Structural Engineering and Architecture!
Yes that is the inside of the PUV? Can you imagine to that? waaa soo nice
So, do you still think that this transfer of drop of point is annoying, pissing you off, an inconvenience? Hold that thought for now. What do you think will happen to the old open space-parking-terminal on the east entry?

Sosyal Hands down
