Good Advice Project: Patricia Monique Paca #6
Today's Happy New Year Good advice comes from Patricia Monique "Doña Muki" Paca, Research Enthusiast, Alta-Yuppie, and #SoshalTraveler. Thank you very much for joining and sharing your advice! :P
"Never Rush Things."
This is what I have learned this year..in career, love and life in general for good things comes to those who wait. Things born out of our own hard work, and patience makes that something you want, even more worth it once it is attained!
Haste makes waste so while waiting for that thing you want most, you do have the power to prepare yourself or build yourself up (build a skill, discovering one's passion, setting and attaining goals) for whats to come.
From what I learned so far, a career is not a ladder, its more of a marathon and climbing. There are no definite path. If you keep complaining and feeling entitled to what you supposedly deserve while doing nothing, then of course you won't get that awesome performance rating or that coveted promotion or salary increase or whatever. In love, do not just go for instant gratification. Building a great relationship takes time, while waiting, you can develop yourself to become someone you yourself would date!
Let things take it's natural course, for the things beyond your control that is; for things within one's control, keep at it and carry on because everything happens for a reason! So cliche but yuuuhh. :)
What do you think of this good advice?

-"Good" I mean the exact opposite of selfish. How can we give people good advice in order for them to care about others and not just of themselves.
