"Dwell on the beauty of Life."

In my 24 years of existence, I have come to learn that one simple hello can make a great difference in someone else's life, one big smile can turn a person's day better, and even a simple 'how are you?' can make a person open up.

“Let us be kind to one another, for most of us are fighting a hard battle.” - Ian MacLaren

This was my realization when looking back at my high school and college years where I met and worked with a lot of people from different walks of life from my teachers, classmates, the Engineering Council.

The experiences, lessons learned, both good and bad led me to become a person who appreciates life even when things seems to go crazy or out of control.

Somewhere along the way, I encountered people who said hello to me, who smiled, laughed, cried, talked more than I did; and I admired them and there actions to a point that I decided to do the same, to say hello, to smile too even though I had some doubts at first. These encounters with people ultimately led me to become the person I am today, the super-load, bright, jolly, shouts-at-you-from-a-distance, and crazy (also confidently beautiful *wink).

I’m sure that what’s in front of us is all still in progress. The conclusion is still up ahead and nobody knows what it is yet. But we must still carry on seeking a beautiful life.

“A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.” - Proverbs 15:13, NIV

The lord impressed unto me that as a Christian, we should be a light and a blessing to the people around us and not be a stumbling block.

There are many ways to do this, it can be through encouragement, showing a different perspective (a different or brighter side of things), Pray-Care-share and/or by wearing a :).

We can be of help to others by showing them the beauty of life!

'Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them.' - Marcus Aurelius

What do you think of this good advice?

Fun Fact:
Did you know that "Selah" is a word frequently found in the Book of Psalms, and also in Habakkuk 3:9 Habakkuk 3:13 , about seventy-four times in all in Scripture. Its meaning is doubtful. Some interpret it as meaning "silence" or "pause;" others, "end," "a louder strain," "piano," etc. The LXX. render the word by daplasma i.e., "a division."
