Donate and Help the T.Padilla Fire Victims

Just Recently, our neighboring Barangay T.Padilla here in Cebu City was razed by fire. At least 250 homes were lost and more than a thousand families were affected. Cebu City Fire Marshall Esmael Codilla described this as the worst fire to hit the city this year.

Displaced families are now in the different evacuation centers in the sports complexes of Barangay Day-as, Tejero, Zapatera and T. Padilla.

We would like to appeal to everyone to extend assistance in the form of donations as our personal contribution to help the fire victims.

These are some of the needed items that you can donate:

* usable clothings (for adults and especially children)
* assorted, usable kitchen utensils
* plastic mats
* blankets

Please drop off your donations at the Casa Gorordo Museum or you may drop your donations at the Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center, 35 Lopez Jaena St., Cebu City... You can bring them in until Friday, August 13, 2010 there.

If you don't know where it is, you can also drop it off with me and I'll take it there. I'll be in Ayala Center Cebu, Terraces grounds, 1-3pm ~ wearing a red and white jacket awaiting your donations. :)
