I think I will run on Casino Femme "The Empowered Run"

This was my 1st, Press (Casino Femme Run) Conference wherein I was not just an attendee to cover an event, but instead be in the front lines and risk myself to be asked or grilled by media personnel. Then I realized that I was letting my imagination run too wild and too much though. I participated in the press conference as a representative for Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.'s ALEx - Aboitiz Leaders of Excellence where part of the proceeds of the run will go to RAFI/ALEx activities or projects in the upcoming Casino Femme "The Empowered Run" organized by IPI - International Pharmaceutical Inc..

There was food, Running mechanics and questions during the duration of the Press Conference. We gave thanks to the organizers for choosing our organization to be one of their beneficiaries too. CEBU, Philippines - Turno na sab sa Sugbu nga mo-host sa 2nd leg sa Casino Femme "The Empowered Run" series karong Domingo diha sa Parkmall carpark sa Mandaue City.

Gibahin sa upat ka dibisyon -- 10K ug 5K open, 3K ug 1.5K all-women, ang maong lumba namugna aron paghatag og bili sa papel sa mga kababayen-an sa pagpalambo sa atong komunidad.

Hinuon, si Analou Jundos, brand manager sa Casino Ethyl Alcohol, miklaro nga ang maong lumba bukas sab sa mga male runners agi’g suporta sa "Women Empowerment."

"We would like to empowered a female run, even if the run highlights women, we also encourage men to give their support by means of running," matud pa ni Jundos atol sa press conference kagahapon didto sa The Port Seafoods restaurant sa Waterfront Cebu-City Hotel and Casino.

Sa iyang bahin, bisan dunganan kini og laing tulo ka lumba, masaligon si race organizer Angel Dela Merced nga makuha nila ang target nga 1,500 runners.

Tungod kay finals sa National Milo Marathon karong Domingo, mawala sa eksena ang mga Sugbuanong elite runners, apan mopuli kanila ang mga running celebrity sama ni ex-PBB housemate Paul Jake Castillo uban sa iyang mga higalang artista ug ang mga maanyag nga kandidata sa Cebu Tropical Beauty pageant.

Niadtong buot mosalmot, ang registration fee nagkantidad og P250 alang sa 1.5K ug 3K, samtang P300 alang sa 10K ug 5K open.

Well, I have been planning for a long time to join a running event to just get a feel of it or take part in the whole experience since this is the current trend in Cebu as well. I have joined a running event before but only as a blogger-correspondent; just walked around, talked to people, friends and taking some pictures here and there. I guess this time, I will be running though I am still undecided with the distance I am willing to run though.

If joining a run for the sake of joining is not a good enough reason, here are a couple of motivation for other to take part in this Cebu Running Event: Former PBB Housemate Paul Jake Castillo will join and run in the event; at the same time Cebu Tropical Beauties candidates will not only grace and run too. And MOST OF ALL, this event is centered on empowering women in general and empowering them to RUN as well. 

So technically, I am not just running, I AM CHASING GIRLS?! >:)
