One of the biggest challenges facing any businesses today is adjusting to the use of the Internet as a community and conversational tool rather than simply a broadcasting medium (Blogging and Social Media). PRs and corporate communication are looking to it as an extended arm for their campaigns and branding.
A few take it seriously and use it for market research, cheap R&D, customer service and relations, but really, do they consider how a netizen behaves?
It’s human nature to want to “belong” with other like-minded people. As a result, groups have been forming on the Internet to facilitate this.
