With the dawn of the 4th industrial revolution, the franchising sector needs to prepare businesses for the challenges and the opportunities ahead. The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), together with industry experts will be helping businesses prepare for the 4th industrial revolution during the Franchise Asia Philippines (FAPHL) 2020 this March 25-29, 2020 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay, Metro Manila.
With the theme Franchising of FIRe or the fourth industrial revolution, FAPHL 2020 will talk about what the franchising industry needs to do to make the latest industrial revolution a tool for further growth and better opportunities.
Aside from talks, the week-long activity will feature franchise seminars and business matching activities. More than 80 renowned industry experts including international franchise guru, Greg Nathan; Senator Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III; and US-based International Franchise Association Chair, Catherine Monson, will be imparting their knowledge.
There will also be representatives from big brands such as Shopee, Lalamove, Angkas, Lazada, Zomato, kasa Arkhitekton, McDonald’s, and Jollibee.
Rounding the week-long line-up of activities is a three-day international expo that is free for those who will register online. The expo will feature over 800 brands.
“We are proud that Franchise Asia Philippines continues to be a magnet for international brands that want to expand here. This year, the expo will showcase international franchise brands from Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, USA, and many more,” said Dom Hernandez, Overall Chair of FAPHL 2020.
FAPHL 2020 is co-presented by the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and PLDT Enterprise.
“To further help businesses, we have compiled the best franchising practices and insights from established entrepreneurs in the book 12 Strategies of Franchising,” said Sherill Quintana, PFA President.
12 Strategies of Franchising discusses case studies and the basics. It combines the experiences of authors Dr. Samie Lim, CFE; Dr. Bing Sibal-Limjoco, CFE; Noel Siggaoat, CFE; and Chris Lim, CFE. It will be sold during FAPHL 2020 and will be available at National Bookstore nationwide on March 2020.
