ABSI marks major milestone, gears up to capture Asia-Pacific market

Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI), a subsidiary of the Asticom Group of Companies, is marking its first anniversary with a major milestone as it gears up to expand its expertise to the Asia-Pacific region.

In just a year, ABSI has served over 60 clients across various industries, led almost 150 projects to fruition, and managed close to 1,400 people.

With this significant accomplishment ABSI now hopes to capture a bigger market outside the Philippines, particularly the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to become the number one shared services center in Asia by 2029.

We’re grateful to our valued partners and customers whose trust helped us reach this significant milestone. It reflects a full year of opportunities and progress that we will nurture in the coming years. With a committed and highly-skilled workforce, combined with best-in-class tech solutions, ABSI continues to create more purposeful and meaningful growth for our partners,” said ABSI General Manager Melissa Tecson.

Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, President and CEO of Asticom Group of Companies added: “We are proud to mark yet another milestone as ABSI celebrates one year in the IT and BSO industry. The company is the first subsidiary that we launched and we’re proud of its continuous growth. ABSI contributes to our purpose of helping businesses grow and creating more opportunities for Filipinos.”

ABSI offers managed services such as Business Service Outsourcing (BSO) and Information Technology (IT), and digital platform services like Customer Experience (CE) and Employee Engagement (EE).  It aims to help sectors such as telecommunications, IT, banking, finance, logistics, and e-commerce further improve business performance.

To better address client business requirements, ABSI continues to grow its centers of expertise in digital solutions, HR, finance, customer experience and corporate services. It also targets to productize existing solutions and continue building packaged solutions.

Despite the limitations of the pandemic, ABSI remains competitive in its business approach. In November 2021, ABSI acquired HR solutions company HCX Technology Partners Inc. from Ayala Corporation.

ABSI upholds its promise of “Above and Beyond Service Innovation” and envisions a brighter business outlook as it continues to make a mark in the IT and Business Services Outsourcing industry.

ABSI is a member of the Globe Group.  It strongly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly UN SDG No. 9, highlighting the roles of infrastructure and innovation as crucial drivers of economic growth and development. It is committed to upholding the UN Global Compact principles and contributing to 10 UN SDGs.
