Sinulog sa Crossroads: Memorable Celebration of Cebuano Culture + Community
"Sinulog sa Crossroads was a celebration of our community, culture, and traditions. It was a chance for us to unite and showcase homegrown talents and products while honoring the spirit of Sinulog in a unique and exciting way. We are thrilled to be able to provide a platform that allowed them to make an impression on our vibrant community,” said Jeaun Tolsa, Crossroads Cebu Marketing Manager.
Tolsa was joined by representatives of the event’s primary partner, all-digital telco brand GOMO, a member of the Globe Group. Globe’s Patrick Gloria and Meggy Sison were also present.
The celebration reached new heights with the XRoads, an electrifying gathering of the hottest local acts from Cebu's thriving indie music scene. The crowd was on fire as they listened to the tunes of The Spirals, Coney Reyes on Camera, Cosmic Kid, Luxxx, Kubra Commanders, Hourswekeep, Awkward Dancer and the Harmless Devils, Deanery, Karma, The Pervs, Folding Bed, Alah Ahkbar, and Hollywood Folk Hogan. But the biggest surprise of the night was the Wanderbattle 2020 champion, The Sundown, who took the stage and brought everyone to a frenzy.
Crossroads Cebu also offered a more laidback Sinulog celebration with the Sunset Cookout. House DJ Libya Montes played funky beats while customers enjoyed shopping at the Makers' Market and dining in the open space. The event ended with a Sinulog miracle, a clear sunset after days of continuous rain. Sinulog sa Crossroads was co-presented by PRWorks, Inc., Lila Events, and From Here Cebu.
Community partners include Redeemed Tattoo, Distillery, Skin Logistics, and Koda & Co.while Wonder and Freebie Mnl served as media partners. Collaborators and sponsors were John Bottles Events, Counterflow Productions, PAWN Records, and GUINTO Event Solutions.
