This year's Fête de la Musique is a much-awaited and well-attended Fête de la Musique in Cebu, which is turning 3 years old. This year, it’s packed with more attitude, more euphoria, and definitely more music!

Just before dusk hits the city up until the wee hours of the morning, be ready to be awed by performances from the locally-brewed, home-grown Cebuano talents of Cattski, Powerspoonz, Zarah Smith, Missing Filemon, Sugbuwanon, Soulstring, the UV Choir and many more as they jam with a dashing French artist, a DJ by the name of Jean Gabriel Becker a.k.a. The Springmine Disaster and a sensational band from Manila, the Brownman Revival! Brace yourself for a continuum of musical genres ranging from classical to rock, amateur or professional, new or old, melodic or loud.. All for FREE! Save your thank-you’s for Jack Lang, then French Minister for Culture, who took up this avant-garde idea back in 1981.
