Big Mao Chinese Bistro lunch daw session happened at 2nd Level, The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. It’s a modern
Chinese restaurant with a touch of contemporary zen interior design. The menu at
Big Mao is a fusion of classic favorites and some creative new twists.

Their lemon chicken is somewhat plain and okay. The
Big Mao Terraces branch is somewhat deceptive in looks at a glance for it looks somewhat small and tight but it really has enough room for many groups to be seated and there is even a function room in there!

Big Mao's distinct flavor of their food is more like Asian fusion, I guess and not very
Chinese to me. Perhaps because it is my 1st time eating in Big
Mao that I really did not get a "CHINESE" Feel, I just later noticed that they are a "MODERN" Chinese Restaurant and I have been eating in traditional chinese and dimsum restaurants so I'll give it another trial with some familiar food choices next time.

I bet this is the only non-modern chinese thing there aside from the "Mao" portraits and chopsticks |
They also have branches in SM City cebu and their 1st branch in Crossroads, Banilad if you are looking for another location if you have a
BIG MAO Craving!
