About ROSSIYA RUSSIAN ENSEMBLE:
Rossiya was formed in 1968, when USSR national actress Lyudmila Georgievne Zykinoj decided to organize a national ensemble that would be both mobile and constantly in operation. This ensemble prides itself for being composed of balalaika, bayan and contrabass players alongside a guitarist.
Rossiya generated major exposure, played with popular musicians and soloists and made a great number of records under its first main conductor, the national of the Russian Federation, Maestro Victor Gridina.
In 2004, Gridina's fellow national actor, Sobolev Anatoly Nikolaevich took the reins and become Rossiya's next main conductor. Nikolaevich is also a muscian, arranger, and a composer of some for the finest Russian Music.
Rossiya's fame further expanded when award-winning composer and musician Dmitry Dmitrienko became its director and conductor. The members of this top Russian National Ensemble are just as talented. Most of them own several instruments which allow them to do their own musical arrangement. At present, this Rossiya continues to win the crowd by giving the highest level of professional performance without compromising artistic freedom in its music.

Uvidimsya! ~See you later! |
Listening their music first hand was sooooo touching, a part of me was definitely now drawn and interested in the Arts somehow! Truly Inspiring! Even if we really did not understand for the most part, the lyrics to their music, we sang along to them as well! This is no different from the songs being sang alonged by the Youth these days like J-/K-Pop~Rock and the like!
We don't really get why we even have MUSIC, we don't know why we move to a beat of music or just dance about. Sometimes we don't need a reason, we just feel the music and go with it. That's the beauty of Music, it simply cannot be defined, it's something felt and/or expressed in action or in anyway we can!
