Savor and Persevere the Small Victories
I admit, I can’t help but want BIG victories, Dreams, HOUSE, and so forth! But lately I realized that anything that is BIG came from small beginnings. I know it’s simple but it makes sense. I guess it’s usually the simple things that we ignore, or take for granted.
Reflecting on the question: “How can I make a difference in the work place?” a thought popped up in my head, we must Begin by being faithful in the little things.
If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in the bigger things. If you can be trusted by little work, perhaps you can be trusted with bigger things than that, but if you cannot even be trusted with little tasks then why will anyone trust you with the bigger tasks, right? If you cannot save Php10.00 a day for 365 days, good luck saving anything higher!
Failure also comes with the territory, or in any endeavor be it big or small, in the workplace, at home, everywhere, it happens. Remember, Failure is an opportunity to learn and grow. So, Forget Failure. If you try anything, to lose weight, to love, to blog, to improve yourself, to help your co-worker or make the world a better place, you have already stepped into the right direction just by trying. If it didn’t work, hold your head up high and be proud, put your hand in your chest and say “all is well”; then try again and again!!
You will learn more in failure than in success. Make things happen, make mistakes!
If you are stuck in a rut, take a deep breath, it’s just a bad day, not a bad life!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
