To inspire Filipinos to own their dreams, Filinvest has chosen actor Richard Yap to serve as the company’s dream advocate. A compelling and credible brand ambassador, Filinvest believes that Richard personifies this advocacy because he represents the Filipino dreamer who is enjoying great success because he dared to pursue his dreams.

Richard started out like many of us, a husband and a father who only wanted to provide the best for his family. Now, he is enjoying the fruits of his efforts and a flourishing acting career even with a relatively late start. He is definitely an inspiration that dreams can come true at any age

On his part, Richard was elated when Filinvest offered him the role of dream advocate. “I knew at once that I wanted to be part of this campaign. I really believe in dreams. Richard Edison Yap is a Filipino actor and businessman, best known for his role as "Papa Chen" in My Binondo Girl and in the television drama Be Careful With My Heart as Richard "Sir Chief" Lim

Yap was born and raised in Cebu City Philippines. He graduated from Sacred Heart School and De La Salle University. Coming from a family who loves to cook, Richard aspired to be full-blooded chef in his younger years.
