Sun Life’s Dollar Advantage Fund named as one of best managed funds of the year
The Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund, managed by Sun Life Asset Management Company, Inc. (SLAMCI) was recognized as one of the best-managed funds of the year 2021 by the CFA Society of the Philippines (CFAP).
The fund bested competitors in the Balanced (Dollar) Fund category, after delivering the highest risk-adjusted returns. This was determined following the CFAP Fund of the Year Committee’s review of its recent performance, as well as consistency over time.
“We are grateful to be recognized by CFAP, an organization known for its stringent standards in reviewing the various funds in the industry,” SLAMCI President Gerald Bautista said. “More than anything, this circles back to our clients, who trust us as their partner in their pursuit of prosperity. We thank them for their support and look forward to serving them further.”
With US$37.7 Million in assets under management as of September 30, 2021, the Sun Life Prosperity Dollar Advantage Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of global stocks and bonds and collective investment schemes. The fund is able to maximize the ongoing positive effects of global economic recovery resulting from strong fiscal support in developed countries, pent-up consumer demand, and strength in asset prices.
Moreover, the relative stability of fixed income securities combined with the growth potential of equities makes the fund ideal for those seeking long-term capital appreciation. Initial investment is only at USD 1,000.
