Children’s Festival 2010

Their will be a press briefing on the upcoming Children’s Festival on July 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center, 35 Lopez Jaena Street, Cebu City. The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) is organizing once again the annual Children’s Festival. The event has been scaled up and starting this year, it will be held twice in response to the significant increase of participants, partners, and sponsors.

The first celebration will be on July 17-18 at the Don Bosco Technology Center with the theme “Dolores, Sumbanan sa Kabataan.” The life, values, and characteristics of Dolores Aboitiz will be highlighted during the Children’s Festival through various activities that promote leadership and citizenship, cultural preservation, integrated development and values education.

The Children’s Festival aims to give opportunities for children with different vulnerabilities to enjoy their childhood and interact with each other through fun and play. Present during the press conference will be representatives from RAFI and partner institutions.
