Significantly changing my PH at 9th Aboitiz Summit

This is my 3rd time observing and covering for the AFLBS - Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit, now on it's 9th leg. Preparing young leaders for the task of improving the Philippines' condition is overwhelming. This year's 9th AFLBS takes on the theme, "Significantly Changing My Philippines."

Now on it's ninth year, the summit congregates 90 of the brightest college student leaders from all over the country for a three-day event of fun and knowledge through activities that let the participants develop their leadership skills and learn how to concretize management concepts in a corporate environment.

One of the awesome things for me this year was being inspired and also meeting Chieffy Caligdong - Azkals vice-captain and Social Entrepreneur Krie Lopez of Messy Bessy!

Top Aboitiz executives from different industries also imparted their knowledge, experience and philosophies that reinforce high hopes for the country for these future leaders.

The summit which began in 2006 as a gathering of Cebu's brightest student leaders has become a yearly phenomenon, providing opportunities for the student delegates to foster relationships not only among their co-delegates and Aboitiz Group team members, but also establish networks with CEOs, executives, and other industry leaders.

This activity is part of the Aboitiz commitment to prioritizing education in its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
