Learn something from Porcupines (Fable)~Past self to me reply

And so, my past self REPLIED to me? o_O Am I going crazy? As I was sleeping, I somewhat was talking to myself and when I woke up I just had to like write/type it down like a madman. Is this one of those alternate/parallel realities talking back or is it just my unconscious scarring the crap out of me. My old young self identified with porcupines for, well during that time, my preferred hairstyle was that it was always standing with the aid of Gel of course. So this was like the reply:

Some people will leave you, some people will stay. Some people will judge you, some people won't. Some people will hurt you, some people can't dare. That's life, you can't please and have everyone. The more important thing is, there will be people who will stand by you, however and whatever. Live through that fact and you'll be okay.

If we want to direct our lives, we must TAKE CONTROL of our consistent actions. It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives but what we do consistently. :) I may or I maybe or I may not. It's either, To be or not to be. Shall I follow the stream or cross the sea? Then the best answer would be " It is all up to me".

Fable of the porcupine.
It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone and frozen. So they had to make a choice: either accept the quills of their companions or disappear from the Earth. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by the close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth that came from the others.

This way, they were able to survive.

Moral of the story: The best relationship is not the one that brings together perfect people, but when each individual learns to live with the imperfections of others and can admire the other person's good qualities.

The real moral of the story......

LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE PRICKS IN YOUR LIFE.

When we share the laughter, that is twice the fun. When we share problems, it is half the pain. When we share tears, a rainbow follows our rain. When we share secrets, it is our hearts we reveal. You see, what draws us closer and makes us all care is not what we have, but the things we share. God bless :)
---Fun-Fact----
About Porcupines:
We all know that they are a prickly rodent, but did you know the Latin name means “quill pig”? There are about two dozen species that all have a coat of needle-like quills. The quills usually lie flat until the porcupine is threatened. The average life span of a porcupine is 5 to 7 years. There head and body is 25 to 36 inches, and the tail 8 to 10 inches. The weight can be from 12 to 35 pounds. Babies are born with soft quills which harden in a few days. Within two months the young porcupines are ready to live on their own.

Their soft hair is mixed with sharp quills on their back, sides, and tail. The quills detach easily when touched, but do not shoot out as once thought. An encounter with a threatened porcupine may leave humans and animals with embedded quills that are difficult to remove. The quills will grow again to replace the lost ones. There can be as many as 30,000 quills on a porcupine.

now going back, it would seem that one is still collecting tears in a bottle..
---------------
And for the tears
I’ve saved in a bottle
That reaches now the brim,
I smile confused
At how or why I ever begun
The habit of collecting sadness.

Perhaps one of the most strangest requests recorded in the Bible, at least to our western minds, is for God to put our tears in His bottle. In the King James version, Psalm 56:8 reads: Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Think about it--our tears in God's bottle. What does this mean? I'm sure that all of God's children, from the beginning of time when sin first entered into the world till the present time, have cried oceans and rivers of tears of grief and sorrow as well as tears of happiness and joy. Is Heaven, then, full of bottled tears?

In some war stories, women were said to have cried into tear bottles and saved them until their husbands returned. Their collected tears would show the men how much they were loved and missed.

So, the psalmist David was not a stranger to the 'Tears in a Bottle' phraseology. I think, that for the most part it is for our benefit that he uses such a strange expression--yet at the same time beautiful, endearing, and even poetic--to let us know that God cares and takes notice of us not only when we cry tears of sorrow, pain, anguish, repentance, confession, and joy but in everything we do and say. God notices all our wanderings in this short earthly pilgrimage of ours. He loves us so much and is ever touched by our burdens, our anguish of heart, and feelings of infirmities.

You are the person who has to decide. Whether you'll do it or toss it aside; you are the person who makes up your mind. Whether you'll lead or will linger behind. Whether you'll try for the goal that's afar. Or just be contented to stay where you are. -Edgar A. Guest

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds

So let me remind you of these facts no matter how the world or your circumstances may change:
most destructive habit: WORRY
greatest joy giving: LOSS OF SELF RESPECT
most satisfying work: HELPING OTHERS
most endangered species: DEDICATED LEADERS
greatest problem to overcome: FEAR
most effective sleeping pill: PEACE OF MIND
most powerful force in life: LOVE
greatest asset: FAITH
most beautiful attire: SMILE
most priced position: INTEGRITY
most important in life: GOD

Just remember a very brilliant man, whom I always look up to, telling me "I should not only KNOW what I WANT to DO but DO it while I’m breathing for LIFE is only meant to be lived ONCE.” - God

He added, “Sadness is your friend at worst reminding you that you have to live forward for you haven’t achieved yet what your heart purely dictates.” Patience with others is love. Patience with self is hope. Patience with God is faith. With God's grace may we live each day full of patience.

Many people will tell you what you should become. The truth is, you shape yourself. Listen to others, but believe in yourself! Life is what you make it! You can make it great, and you can also make it bad. It all depends on you!

God won't give you anything you can't handle. Trust Him, smile, and say thanks. Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes.

Continue to be yourself and SMILE Always!
