Me with RAFI, ALEx, YMA-4, Volunteers for the Relief Operation
Last Sunday, the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. organized there own Relief Operation for the Fire Victims of Barangay T.Padilla, Cebu City. The Relief Operation for T.Padilla Fire Victims was truly a rewarding experience!

organizing the relief items ~ kalan, School supplies, banig, water containers & like
Through the Relief Operation for T.Padilla Fire Victims, I have learned a lot as to the realities, technicalities and logistics of organizing such an event. This includes in being in the front line and really seeing the reactions of the victims, to the joyful and the not-so-joyful beneficiaries as well. Well we can't please everyone, but what was also nice to see also was the joy in the children who were with their parents/guardians when receiving the school supplies! (I failed to take photos of them since I was taking pictures and also helping inside the organization of the goods to be distributed.

As seen in the Photo Above, the line is indeed quite long, not to mention that this is just inside the gates of the museum premises-there is still a line at the outside the gate. Till the next volunteering endeavor!

It is clear that when people make the effort, not only are causes and other people helped, but something very special happens to the giver too, and in the combination, the community and the nation take on a spirit of compassion, comradeship and confidence
