Miriam Quiambao shares her time for Cebuano Children

random observation...I look like a turtle o_O
Backpack Family Fun Run - "A Backpack can help build their Education," commences as Celebrities, Miriam Quiambao and Derek Ramsay Run for Cebuano Children's Education. I missed out on Derek but was able to caught up with the Beauty Queen-Host-Actress-Celebrity-Runner-Businesswoman-World Vision Amabassador Miss Miriam Quiambao!

Proceeds of the Backpack Family Run will provide backpacks and school supplies for 500 underprivileged students at Subangdaku Elementary School and Guba Elementary School, and will support the education of 15 children through World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Program.

I was wearing this raincoat due to moody weather this day & I want to blame my emergency photographer..tsk3
She is praised by the Philippine running community as one of its active participants. Now to run for what she is passionate about gives the event more meaning for the beauty queen. She has been running since 2008 but as she says, "I'm not consistent.." but she did prepare for this run and will be running for 10K (OMG, 5K was already HELL for me!).

She also mentioned that she has been with world vision since 2000 and now has 4 child sponsors that she supports. Sponsor a Child for their education via World Vision for as low as Php600.00 per month per child, visit worldvision.org.ph for more info.!
